In a perfect world, every older adult would have nearby relatives or neighbors to help prepare meals, clean house, make small home repairs and visit regularly. This kind of assistance is imperative to quality of life — but too many members of Atlanta’s senior population have no such support system.

When it comes to serving seniors and providing them with dignity, care and choice and the ability to “age in place,” there’s no better place to turn than Senior Connections. From our roots as a small nonprofit agency 40 years ago, we’ve grown to help thousands of metro Atlanta seniors annually:

• Preparing and delivering 2,500 meals daily
• Providing almost 60,000 hours annually of in home care
• Providing home repairs for more than 200 homes
• Operating DeKalb County senior centers
• Provide health and wellness classes and seminars

As a result of our experience, we’ve learned how to serve this special population with quality and compassion.

Senior Connections offers a range of quality services provided by skilled professionals and community volunteers. While those with the financial means to do so pay the full cost of services, there are public funds, United Way grants, and private donations that help subsidize the cost of services to those in need. Senior Connections never denies service due to a lack of ability to pay.
