CURRENT OPEN POSITIONS - Cobb County Sous Chef/Kitchen Manager

General Responsibilities: Sous Chef/Kitchen Manager is responsible for overseeing all day-to-day kitchen and café operations pertaining to inventory, purchasing and receiving, oversight of production of meals, caterings, customer service and client satisfaction at a Cobb County kitchen and cafe. Prefer Cobb and Cherokee applicants due to hours and responsibilities.  Duties: 

• Supervision to ensure that menu is cooked adhering to standardized recipes, on schedule, and all rules of HACCP are followed during production.
• Oversees that all congregate meals are reheated, as necessary, in a timely fashion maintaining quality, taste, and appearance.
• Work with Foodservice Director to ensure that prep list and ordering procedures are completed properly.
• Responsible for the daily record keeping, daily production logs, any temperature records, cleaning log, volunteer hours log and any other required records. Responsible for the cleanliness of the kitchen in accordance with Health Department guidelines.
• Ensure that inventory is rotated and pars are accurate.
• Train and supervise all kitchen staff and volunteers in accordance with Senior Connections and Cobb County procedures.
• Assists in preparing and/or delivering Connections Catering orders.
• Manage front of house café duties including exemplary customer service.
• Maintains high standards of grooming and work habits in accordance with all applicable state and local public health codes and laws.

Education and Experience: This position requires a high school diploma or GED and five years in the food/kitchen industry, must be certified chef or have equivalent restaurant/cooking experience, or any equivalent combination of education and experience.  Culinary degree is preferred.

CURRENT OPEN POSITIONS: CNA’s  MA’s and PSA’s for Fulton and DeKalb Counties to work in our In-Home department. 

CNAs must have Georgia CNA license in good standing and will assist with personal care activities such as bathroom assistance, bathing, care of mouth, skin and hair, movement, eating, shaving, dressing, and meal preparation. Also homemaking services such as light housekeeping, meal preparation, grocery shopping and other errands and companion/respite care.

Additional requirements for hiring include:
