DIRECTOR, GRANTS

As Director of Grants, David is responsible for securing funds that enable Senior Connections to enhance programming. Because of his efforts, Senior Connections is able to purchase much need equipment, such as our recent climate-controlled vehicles. These important additions to our organization allow us to broaden our services and meet more needs.

David has been writing successful grant proposals for four years and his work has resulted in millions of support dollars being awarded to Senior Connections. He is dedicated to making a positive difference within the lives of seniors.

A few of his responsibilities at Senior Connections include:

• Securing United Way Funding to provide continued support for existing programs and services;
• Researching community resources for possible grant award opportunities, enabling the expansion of existing programs and creation of new services.
• Developing effective Request for Proposals (RFPs) that expand Senior Connections’ services to Counties throughout the Atlanta area.
• Project managing vital application processes to secure additional funding dollars to support the organization.
