Senior Connections is 44th on UGA’s 2010 Bulldog 100: Fastest Growing Bulldog Businesses
On Saturday evening, January 29, 2010, Senior Connections was honored to named the 44th Fastest Growing Bulldog Business as part of the inaugural event presented by the University of Georgia’s Alumni Association. The Bulldog 100 is a program that will determine and award the 100 fastest growing businesses that are owned or operated by UGA Alumni, each year.
Debra Furtado, chief executive officer of Senior Connections, and an UGA alumnus, accepted the award on behalf of the organization. Also present at the gala was Senior Connections’ board member Diane Maxson, Chief Financial Officer, Bonny Robichaud, staff and family members.
The criteria for selection on the list includes rating by "Compounded Annual Growth Rate" of revenues for the last 3 years. To be considered in the program, businesses must meet the following requirements:
- Must have been in business for 5 years or more
- Have had verifiable revenues of $100,000 or more for the last calendar year
- Must be a former UGA student and own at least 50% of company or be the CEO,President or Managing Partner
- The company must operate in a manner consistent with University of Georgia's "Pillars of the Arch" character statement.
